我认为，图书有三种类型。第一种是“销售部门”的书，销售经理比编辑更清楚它的获利能力。这类书通常是非虚构类，符合某个市场需求，内容浅显易懂。

第二种是“附属版权”的书。附属版权经理的职责就是了解平装书出版社有兴趣购买哪些类型的小说，以及在同类书中，哪种情节、情境，哪类侦探、场景已经过时了。
